Your whole astrophotography rig in your phone
YAN turns a Raspberry Pi into the controller of your whole setup: camera, mount, filter wheel, focuser, rotator and guiding. You set up and run the session from a phone or tablet, in the field without internet.
From mount setup to finished frames
Plate solving and GOTO
The mount finds the target and centres it after solving the image. A fast solver runs on the device itself, without internet.
Polar alignment
Step-by-step alignment of the mount axis with live error measurement.
Autofocus
Focusing with an HFR curve, also automatically during the night: after a temperature or filter change, or every few frames.
Guiding
Built-in guiding based on PHD2, without a separate program or setup, with a graph and dithering.
Session plans
Sequences of targets and filters, meridian flip, camera cooling, grading and retaking weak frames. Start the plan and go to sleep.
Calibration and Live mode
Darks, flats and biases in a few taps. Live mode with SER recording for planetary imaging.
Sky map
Object catalogues, a plan for the coming night, the site horizon and framing with a rotator.
Files and compatibility
FITS with full headers and JPG previews, NINA-compatible metadata, whole folders downloaded to the phone or computer.
